Since all Season/Tier Gear is available from the start.
To gain additional stats to your gear you gain something called BG Points.
You Gain BG Points on this private server for wow by getting kills in BGs.
Also you can convert the honor you recieve(By doing various tasks in BGs) into Bg Points
BG Points will then display a % Modifier to your stats when equipping gear.

There is a custom PvE System on this wow private server called Ultimate Road.
You access Ultimate Road by talking the the Ultimate Warper NPC in the mall.
There are over 50+ Different areas to warp to fight ultimate bosses.
You can do these with groups and earn ultimate points.
You then trade in your ultimate points at the Ultimate NPC for Perks.

A great way at WoWDark cataclysm private server, to expierence the PvE Dungeons/Raids
is to gain sub-class XP while doing the dungeons/raids by getting mob/boss Kills.
This will give you sub-class XP which in return gives you perks.

the respect system was admins to give other admins respect if they feel
they deservered more administrative commands.
An overwhelming vote was made to give justen these commands on this
cataclysm private server.

Justen is a good example of how to act as an responsible admin.
Some things to note on his behavior are.
He does not abuse summon/appear commands.
He does not use additem to add buggy/OP gear in game.
He doesn't abuse kick/ban.
He Hosts events regulalarly to add interest to the realm.
Frequently is involved in community support.
Is friendly to everyone and acts mature.
So if your an admin and having trouble gaining respect these are things you could
probably work on in achieveing respect on this cataclysm private server.
